Your Questions, Answered

  • I tend to work best with people who are thoughtful, self-reflective, and curious about understanding themselves more deeply. If you’ve tried skills-based or symptom-focused approaches and found them limiting, we may be a good fit. A brief consultation call can also help you decide.

  • After you send a message, I’ll respond to schedule a brief consultation call. This gives you a chance to ask questions, share what’s bringing you in, and get a sense of whether working together feels right, without pressure or obligation.

  • I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients find this process straightforward, and I'm happy to answer questions during a consultation call. Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend checking with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits. Sessions may also be paid using HSA/FSA funds.

  • I work with individual adults and couples. Individual therapy often focuses on understanding patterns related to anxiety, self-criticism, relationships, and identity. In couples therapy, I help partners slow down reactive cycles and reconnect in more secure ways. I work with teens 15+ on a case-by-case basis determined by fit.

  • I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. We can talk during a consultation about what format feels like the best fit for you.

  • My work is primarily insight-oriented, with an emphasis on understanding emotions, patterns, and the contexts they developed in. That understanding often brings relief and creates space for change, rather than relying solely on techniques or exercises. I’m not a worksheet or homework-heavy therapist. At times I may suggest things to try differently or reflect on between sessions when it feels useful. Any between-session work is collaborative and tailored to you.
